Panjea trumpet player Dan Sears sat in with Railroad Earth on Saturday night at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO. New Jersey-bred Sears—who has collaborated with RRE, the String Cheese Incident and Guster in the past—joined the Garden State band toward the end of their second set, playing trumpet and fluegelhorn on “Spring-Heeled Jack” and “Goat,” and then playing just trumpet on “Hard Livin’.” He then returned for “Elko” during the encore.
