Rare Radiohead Tape to be Auctioned Off

A rare Radiohead demo tape from 1986 will be auctioned in September through Omega Auctions. The nine-track tape was recorded at the Abingdon School when Thom Yorke, Ed O’Brien and Colin Greenwood were classmates and were still known as On A Friday. The tape features six unreleased songs including, “Mountains (On The Move)”, “Fragile Friend” and “Girl (In the Purple Dress).” The Radiohead demo tape will be auctioned on September 14 in Stockport, United Kingdom and is estimated to sell for $1,500.
