The AmericanaramA tour rolled into Darien Center, NY’s Darien Lake Performing Arts Center last night. In addition to tour staples Bob Dylan, Wilco and My Morning Jacket, last night’s show featured an opening set by Ryan Bingham.

My Morning Jacket offered some rarer songs during their set, including only this year’s second version of “At Dawn” and this year’s first take om the It Still Moves nugget “Just One Thing.” Wilco also dusted off some rarities. They opened their set with the first version of the original “Cars Can’t Escape” since 2011. The group originally offered the track as a free Wilcoworld.net Roadcase download for owners of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Up next, they charged into this year’s first version of the Wilco (The Album) song “Bull Black Nova.” A bit later, they brought back the members of My Morning Jacket to help out on a cover of Nick Lowe’s “(What’s So Funny ‘bout) Peace, Love and Understanding,” a tune they performed during their cover set at the Solid Sound Festival in June.

Though he brought out both Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and My Morning Jacket’s Jim James earlier this week, Bob Dylan’s set remained guest free last night. For the second show in a row, Colin Linden played lead guitar with the bar. Linden replaced Charlie Sexton, who filled in for Duke Robillard after he left the band mid-tour. Robillard originally replaced Sexton when he originally left Dylan’s band earlier this year.

AmericanaramA rolls into Bridgeport, CT later this evening.
