The Lee Boys’ Roosevelt Collier served as an “artist-at-large” at the All Good Festival in Thornville, OH over the weekend.

On Friday, he joined Leftover Salmon for the last few songs of their set on lap steel before jumping on with the John Butler Trio during the middle of their performance for a scorching rendition of “Zebra.”

Collier kicked off his Saturday performance shortly after noon with his sacred steel jam on the Grassroots Stage. He sat on pedal steel and was joined by young steel player Christopher Greenhorn, Greenhouse Lounge bassist Dave McSweeny and Everyone Orchestra drummer Matt Butler. Later that afternoon, the pedal steel ace jammed with Trombone Shorty toward the end of his set and then concluded his All Good “artist-at-large” experience with the Rex Jam, which included Collier on lap steel, Rob Chafin on drums, Tony Gallicchio on keys, James Searl on bass, two horns from the MarchFourth Marching Band and several other musicians.
