Widespread Panic Announce Full Fall Tour

Widespread Panic have confirmed another round of fall dates. In addition to the group’s previously announced dates, which include two performances at Interlocken (one with special guest John Fogerty), the itinerary includes a three-night Halloween run in New Orleans (where the group has performed several classic Halloween shows) and a return to Atlanta’s Philips Arena on New Year’s Eve. Though Panic holds the all time attendance record at Philips Arena, they have not performed the venue since December 31, 2009. Panic will also make their debut at New York’s Theater at MSG on November 16. Tickets to these new dates will go on sale starting in mid-August, with the list of dates and on-sale times below.

Thanks for coming east! But…the Orpheum Theater is a pit. They are just taking money and putting nothing into it for decades. It is one of those great old theaters some of which have been redone tremendously. Not this one. People can’t do anything, maybe promoters and bands can refuse to play there?
