About 4000 Deadheads showed up to the AT&T Park last night for the San Francisco Giants’ Grateful Dead Tribute Night. Bob Weir sang the National Anthem with Giants third-base coach Tim Flannery and his brother Tom Flannery at the event, while fans that purchased VIP tickets to the game were treated to a performance by Moonalice, who covered Grateful Dead songs like “Stella Blue” and “China Cat Sunflower.” In addition, Jerry Garcia’s daughter Trixie threw our the first pitch along with Weir and longtime Deadhead and basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton.

In an creative twist, the field’s bases were adorned the band’s iconic “Steal Your Face” imagery, which was renamed “Steal Your Base” for the evening.
