Dr. John, Maceo Parker, Justin Townes Earle and More to Open for The Black Crowes in New York

The Black Crowes have announced the special guest openers for their upcoming New York shows. The band will be supported by John Fulbright during their all-acoustic performances at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on October 18 and 19, while Justin Townes Earle will open for them during the acoustic shows at The Capitol Theatre on October 21 and 22.

The Black Crowes will then make their way to Terminal 5 in New York City for a run of electric shows. There they will be supported by Ray Wylie Hubbard on October 24, Blind Boys of Alabama on October 26, Dr. John & the Nite Trippers on October 27 and Maceo Parker on October 29.

Tickets to The Capitol Theatre and Terminal 5 shows will go on sale this Friday, August 23 at noon ET.

As previously reported, The Black Crowes recently announced their final tour dates for 2013. The members of the band also confirmed that they will spend 2014 working on their solo projects.
