Floodwood Featuring Members of moe. Expand Kickstarter Campaign

Last week, we shared information on Floodwood’s Kickstarter campaign. The band features Jason Barady, Nick Piccininni, and Zachary Fleitz along with moe.‘s Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico. Now the group, who will play a series of shows across the Northeast in September and October, on bills with Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon and moe., have upped the ante. Floodwood have added such rewards, including a golf outing, lessons with the band members, the ability to attend a soundcheck, a personalized thank you video from the band, dinner with Vin and more.

In addition while there are 12 days left in the campaign, Floodwood has posted that if their goal is reached by August 28, “ALL of our pledges will receive a free download of the soundboard matrix mix from moe.down XIV!”

This is disgusting….Al and Vinnie have enough money to do this themselves. Kickstarter should be used for people who REALLY need the help. It shouldn’t be for rich people to ask for handouts.

Um MB… while they may not be struggling artists, it’s safe to assume that moe. is not rich… likely making not much more than the average person, if that… enough to pay bills but not living the high life… although I’m no fan of Kickstarter either…

Seriously, enough of the Kickstarter requests from mid-large scale national acts. If you are co-headlining Red Rocks, SAVE YOUR MONEY and fund your own projects. With that said, it’s a free country. If people want to give them money, more power to them. Just more annoying than anything.

A Van? August 23, 2013, 12:42:03

Is this a joke? A van? If Al and Vinnie can’t afford a van, they need a new financial advisor
