In addition, Bootsy Collins & The Funk Unity Band will be opening for SCI on December 28, while a currently unannounced special guest will be opening the show on December 29.

The String Cheese Incident rang in the New Year at the 1stBank Center last year as well. This year’s run will mark the second time that the band has celebrated the New Year since they went on hiatus in 2007.

In related news, the String Cheese Incident recently announced that they would be heading south of the border for the first International Incident Riviera Maya in February.
