The Disco Biscuits played one of their only 2013 shows at Chicago’s Concord Music Hall last night.
The two-set performance was an after show tied to the Windy City’s North Coast Music Festival (The Biscuits performed at the festival on Friday).

During their encore, the Disco Biscuits invited out Big Gigantic saxophonist Dominic Lalli for a take on the seldom played Biscuits song “Trucker’s Choice.” The Disco Biscuits have only performed the song three times since 2009. Lalli, who was in the area for a North Coast performance with Big G, plays with Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner in the livetronica super group Gigantic Underground Conspiracy.
