The Sway Machinery singer/guitarist Jeremiah Lockwood will once again participate in a series of Jewish High Holiday services this year. Lockwood, grandson of the legendary Cantor Jacob Konigsberg, will accompany Rabbi Dan Ain during his Rosh Hashanah (9/5), Kol Nidre (9/13) and Yom Kippur (9/14) at Brooklyn, NY’s Roulette. This year, they’ll be joined on keyboard and accordion by Shoko Nagai (Songs of Zebulon) and drummer John Bollinger (Barbez) as well as additional guests. The music is described as “part old-world Ashkenazi High Holy Day wailing and part Delta Blues.”
