The Allman Brothers Play "The Weight" with Grace Potter in Virginia

Grace Potter sat in with The Allman Brothers Band last night during their show at Farm Bureau Live in Virginia Beach, VA. The singer made her appearance for a cover of The Band’s classic “The Weight.” The show also featured takes on Allman Brothers standards like “Blue Sky” and “Jessica,” as well as a cover of Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic.” Grace Potter and The Nocturnals played the night’s opening set.

As previously reported, Potter will be sitting in with Gov’t Mule tonight during their set at the inaugural Lockn’ Festival at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA. She has also selected the film that will be playing at the festival’s Cinema Tent tonight.

That feeling when you check the Allman’s set list from the night before you go and see them only to find that they played both DWYNM>NMCTB and Blue Sky
