Ducktails, the side-project of Real Estate guitarist Matt Mondanile, will release a new EP on October 21. Wish Hotel, the follow up to this year’s acclaimed Ducktails album The Flower Lane, will be available through Domino records. The new EP consists of five songs recorded by Mondanile at his home in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The songs “display a theme of travel, love, and longings. All instrumentation was recorded by Mondanile himself, and mixed by Al Carlson, who also contributed to The Flower Lane.” Fans who pre-order the 12” EP will receive an instant MP3 download of track “Honey Tiger Eyes.”
