A few weeks ago we reported that a brand new Beatles release was in the works, and that it was likely to be follow up to 1994’s smash hit, On Air – Live at the BBC. Today we can officially confirm that On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 is set for release on November 11.

On Air – Live at the BBC volume 2 will be sold in double CD and vinyl LP collections featuring 40 songs and 23 spoken segments from The Beatles’ 1963-1964 BBC Radio broadcasts. The release will include some of the band’s biggest hits that didn’t make it onto the first volume like “Please Please Me,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “She Loves You,” as well as covers of Little Richard’s “Lucille,” “Chuck Berry’s “I’m Talking About You” and “Stephen Foster’s “Beautiful Dreamers.” The tracks provide a glimpse into the band’s early live sound, with crisp recordings that are not tainted by the sound of screaming fans that drown out many of the concert recordings from that era.

In addition to the music, release will also come with a 48-page booklet and a t-shirt, and deluxe bundles complete with hand-numbered lithographs will also be available. Fans can pre-order On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 here.
