Giovanni Hidalgo joined Mickey Hart on Wednesday in Las Vegas during Hart’s The Superorganism Tour show at the Hard Rock Cafe on The Strip. The longtime world music collaborator (Planet Drum, Global Drum Project) sat in for the entire set to help celebrate Hart’s 70th birthday. Together, the band moved through two sets of music full of Grateful Dead originals and other compositions. The Superorganism Tour continues tonight in Park City, UT.
