Leftover Salmon invited out members of the moe. side-project Floodwood along with moe. bassist Rob Derhak last night in Portland, Maine. Leftover Salmon and Floodwood are currently in the midst of a joint tour. moe./Floodwood’s Al Schnier (guitar), moe./Floodwood’s Vinnie Amico (drums), Floodwood’s Jason Barady (mandolin) and Derhak took the stage during Leftover Salmon’s set to help the group run through a version of The Band classic “The Weight” as well as the Leftover original “Going ‘Round the World.” (Derhak lives in Portland, ME and attended the show as a fan.)The tour continues tonight in Burlington, VT before a stop at Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday.
