Big Gigantic have announced that their upcoming Rowdytown show and the Rowdytown pre-party will now be benefit shows for flood relief efforts in the their homestate of Colorado.

The band will be giving a portion of the proceeds from both shows to Conscious Alliance’s flood relief fund, which will be providing basic necessities to community members affected by the disaster. Conscious Alliance will also be collecting food, new or lightly used clothing, household items and monetary donations at both shows. In addition, both members of Big Gigantic will join Conscious Alliance at The Boulder Theater this Saturday from 2pm-4pm, where they will be selling no service fee tickets for the Rowdytown Pre-Party and signing up volunteers for Big Gigantic Cleanup Day.

As previously reported, Big Gigantic’s second annual Rowdytown show will take place at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on Saturday, September 28. The Rowdytown pre-party, which was scheduled after the event sold-out earlier than expected, will take place at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on Friday, September 27.
