Tom Waits has joined the lineup for this year’s Bridge School Benefit . For the show—his first full set since 2008—his band will consist of Los Lobos’ David Hidalgo (guitar), Les Claypool (bass), Casey Waits (drums) and others. The ensemble will offer a full acoustic set featuring songs from Waits’ album Bad As Me.

Per Waits’ Facebook page, Waits has no plans to tour, but he added, “I had every good intention to stay home and work on my JD Salinger Halloween mask, but when Neil told me yesterday he was serving burnt cow’s eyes on a flat tire and it’s all gluten free, I invited myself!”

The two-day acoustic Bridge School Benefit is curated every fall by by Neil and Pegi Young. This year’s event boasts the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, fun., Heart and more. Tickets are available now.
