Hard Rock Calling is no more. Live Nation announced today they are seeking a new sponsor for their annual Calling festival in London after Hard Rock ended their deal after seven years. Hard Rock International confirmed they will not sponsor the festival in 2014, but assured everyone that it will go ahead next year. “Following record ticket-demand and audience numbers at festivals this year, Live Nation is exploring new sponsorship partnerships for its highly successful ‘Calling’ franchise,” a Hard Rock spokesperson said in a statement.

Hard Rock sponsored the Calling festival from 2006-2013 and attracted acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney, The Who, Stevie Wonder and more. Hard Rock Calling made news in 2012 when Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney shared the stage, only to have their set cut short when organizers turned off their microphones after they broke the venue’s sound curfew.
