San Francisco jam band New Monsoon plans to stay close to home this Halloween as the group announced a gig at Sweetwater Music Hall on October 31. The Bob Weir-funded venue will play host to Bay Area rockers Bo Carper (acoustic guitar, banjo), Jeff Miller (electric guitar), Phil Ferlino (keys), Marshall Harrell (bass), and Michael Pinkham (drums). In addition to the show, a costume contest with prizes will also be held.
