This Sunday, September 29, Mountain Stage Radio Show will celebrate its 800th episode at The Clay Center in Charleston, WV in conjunction with the show’s thirty years of live performance radio. Performers at the event will include Ani DiFranco, Dawes, Red Baraat and Dave Mason.

Produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting and distributed internationally by NPR, Mountain Stage has offered a two-hour radio show dedicated entirely to live musical performances since 1983. Over the last three decades, Mountain Stage has broadcasted a diverse array of talent ranging from Buddy Guy to R.E.M, to Dr. Dog and many more.

Tickets to this Sunday’s event are available now online and by phone for $30, or can be purchased the day of the show for $35. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7pm. A list of radio stations that carry Mountain Stage can be found here.
