Tame Impala and the Flaming Lips will release a new EP on which they will cover each other. The vinyl EP will be sold during their co-bill shows October 29-November 1. The Lips will cover Tame Impala songs “Runway, Houses, City, Clouds” and “Elephant.” Tame Impala will return the favor by covering “Are You a Hypnotist?” and “Silver Trembling Hands.”

Flaming Lips fan site The Future Heart confirmed the info and also included a quote from Lips frontman Wayne Coyne from his Instagram account. “Doing a Tame Impala does Flaming Lips songs and Flaming Lips do Tame Impala songs 4 song vinyl.”
