The Flaming Lips will release a new EP, Peace Sword, based on the themes from Ender’s Game. Initially signed on to write a song for the film adaptation of the popular novel, The Lips decided to extend the project to a full-length album.

Peace Sword is due out November 29, coinciding with the Ender’s Game movie which is out November 1. The film stars Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley and Harrison Ford.
