moe. with Marco back in 2010

moe. got some help from Marco Benevento for a good bit of their show last night at the Higher Ground in Burlington, VT. The keyboardist sat in with the group for a number of tunes, including a take on his original “The Real Morning Party,” a song that moe. last played on January 22, 2010 when they were joined by Benevento during their World Hunger Year benefit at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom.

In addition to his own tune, Benevento also sat in with the band on “Opium” and “Happy Hour Hero” at the end of the first set. He then returned during the second half of the second set for “Four,” as well as cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” that played into a take on Pink Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” before going into “Shoot First” and finally wrapping up with “Moth.” Benevento also came out for the “Plane Crash” encore.
