The 25th Annual Christmas Jam will take place December 13-14 at Asheville, NC’s US Cellular Center. The Silver Anniversary of Warren Haynes’ charity event will benefit the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity for the 15th year in a row. Performers at the event include Aquarium Rescue Unit, Michael Franti, Gov’t Mule, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Keb Mo, OAR, Phil Lesh Quintet and The John Scofield Uberjam Band. Special guests Bill Evans, Ron Holloway and Xmas Jam regular Kevn Kinney are also slated to appear. Additional artists, including headliners, will be announced soon. Though Christmas Jam is usually a single-day event, the charity show expanded to two days for its 20th anniversary and will do so again this year for its 25th anniversary.

In addition to the performers above, Christmas Jam will also see the return of SCO-MULE, the highly revered collaboration between Gov’t Mule and John Scofield. The pair hasn’t played together since September ’99 when they joined forces in Georgia for two legendary shows.

GA Tickets will go on sale October 10 via MusicToday. VIP packages will be available via CID Entertainment and will go on sale October 9 at 2 P.M.
ARU have not performed since a 2011 reunion show at Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre. The classic Phil Lesh Quintet—Lesh, Haynes, Widespread Panic/ARU guitarist Jimmy Herring, drummer John Molo and keyboardist Rob Barraco—reunited for the first time in almost a decade last year for a series of gigs at Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads.
