Dogfish Head to Launch American Beauty Pale Ale with Phil Lesh & Terrapin Family Band

Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band will play Dogfish Head Brewery’s American Beauty launch party at Terrapin Crossroads on Tuesday, October 15. The free show will begin at 8:30pm, but the American Beauty will start flowing on tap when happy hour begins at 4pm.

The new American Beauty pale ale has been in the works for some time, and the brewery even solicited Deadheads for ideas about the beer’s ingredients. The beer will be brewed with all-American hops and barley, as well as granola (honey, toasted grains, oats and fruit).

I tasted this at the DFH brewery over the summer, granted it was after a full day of drinking on a boat and I was asked to leave after taking a nap at the bar, but from what I remember it was very tasty. For sure its the “get some”

If you are so drunk that you fell asleep at the bar then they have every right to kick you out. Same idiots who ruin the experience of going to shows.

If you haven’t fallen asleep in at least 1 inappropriate place, you probably haven’t lived.
