John Bell, Jason Mraz to Sit In with Zac Brown Band at Southern Ground in Charleston

The Zac Brown Band have announced that John Bell and Jason Mraz will join them for the nightly super sets at their upcoming Southern Ground Music& Food Festival in Charleston, SC, which is set to take place on October 19 and 20. Bell will sit in with the group on Saturday night, while Mraz will help them out on Sunday. The Bell collaboration should be particularly interesting, seeing as Zac Brown Band have been covering Widespread Panic’s “Ain’t Life Grand” for years.

In addition, Southern Ground has also added Freddy Clarke and Little Feather to the festival’s lineup. The artists join a bill that already includes Willie Nelson & Family, Band of Horses, The Head & The Heart, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Dawes, The Wood Brothers and more. Kenny Rogers and Clare Bowen are also scheduled to sit in with the Zac Brown Band.

As previously reported, Mraz, Rogers, Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson both collaborated with Zac Brown Band during the recent Nashville edition of the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival. Warren Haynes also played a full set with Nelson at the event.

Two-day passes to the festival are now sold out, but single day tickets to can still be purchased for $79-129.
