The Capitol Theatre will host its first-ever electronic dance music show on November 13 when dubstep superstar Skrillex takes the stage at the Port Chester, NY venue. Tickets to the concert will go on sale for $40 tomorrow at 1pm. Bro Safari and Valentino Khan will play the night’s opening sets.

“In its almost 100-year life, the Cap has hosted Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Morrissey, Jimmy Cliff and BB King, but it’s never had an EDM show,” says theatre owner (and Relix/Jambands.com publisher) Peter Shapiro. “We’re thrilled to be starting with one of the best, and we’re looking forward to dialing up our planetarium projection system to 11.”

Other artists set to perform at The Capitol Theatre over the next few months include The Black Crowes Acoustic (four nights), Sammy Hagar, Phil Lesh and Friends (four nights), Elvis Costello Solo (two nights), Bonnie Raitt, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Lettuce and The Funky Meters, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The Pixies, Neutral Milk Hotel, Galactic and Foreigner, among others.
