Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann has stayed off the road this year while he recovers from severe lateral epicondylitis and works on his autobiography. However, the drummer recently confirmed a home state show.
On November 9, Kreutzmann will perform at the Church of the Pacific Outdoor Ampitheater as part of the Kaua’i Hawaii Homegrown Music Festival. The three-day event will run from November 8-10, featuring Powerhound, Ken Emerson, Nahko & Medicine, Jeff Caldwell Band, John Cruz and many others.
Kreutzmann has performed at a few big shows since his band 7 Walkers cancelled some dates last September, including sit ins at both Toots Hibbert’s Capitol Theatre 70th birthday celebration and Gov’t Mule’s annual Beacon Theatre run last December.
