The Black Crowes were once again joined by a few special guests during the third night of their acoustic run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Mandolinist Sam Bush, multi-instrumetnalist Larry Campbell, guitarist Eric Krasno and percussionist Otto Hauser all sat in with the group. Hauser joined the band for the duration of the show, while Bush and Campbell took the stage periodically throughout the night and Krasno came out for one song.

The night featured a number of covers including The Byrds’ “He Was a Friend of Mine,” Bob Dylan’s “Meet Me in the Morning,” Traffic’s “Feelin’ Alright” Doc Watson’s “Walk on Boy,” The Band’s “Rockin’ Chair” and Merle Haggard’s “Sing Me Back Home,” as well as debut renditions of Conway Twitty’s “Just Because” and The Rolling Stone’s “Wild Horses.” As has been the case with the run’s previous shows, Rich and Chris Robinson each played one solo song, with Rich opting for “Falling Again” and Chris doing a rendition of “Tomorrow Blues.”

The Black Crowes will close out their acoustic run at The Capitol Theatre tonight.
