Patty Griffin has announced a series of tour dates for early 2014. Griffin will make her way through the Midwest and Texas in support of her latest album, American Kid, as well as her “long lost” album, Silver Bell. All of the shows will be in college towns and tickets will cost $20 or less.

As previously reported, Griffin recently released Silver Bell, an album that was recorded in 2000 but shelved due to complications arising from an ownership change at A&M Records. Two of the records’ songs—“Top of the World” and “Truth”—were covered on the Dixie Chicks’ multi-platinum 2002 release Home.
