Brian Burton, better known as Danger Mouse, will produce U2’s upcoming LP, Billboard reports. The album, slated for an April 2014 release, was recorded primarily at New York’s Electric Lady Studios. This album will serve as a follow up to 2009’s No Line on the Horizon, which marked the band’s seventh number one album on The Billboard 200. Plans are underway to announce the new project via a Super Bowl commercial in February.

In other Danger Mouse news, Burton and The Shins’ James Mercer are back together as Broken Bells. The duo plans to release their sophomore effort After the Disco on January 19. Mercer and Burton released the first single to that album, “Holding on For Life.”
