Various artists have teamed up for a pair of benefit shows for Alan Forbes. The rock poster artist—who, among other things, designed the Black Crowes’ iconography—suffered skull fractures and damage to his right eye when he was attacked in San Francisco on October 21. Proceeds from the shows will go toward Forbes’ medical expenses.

Jello Biafra, Harderships, Hot Lunch, The Freeks and Ethan Miller will perform at The Make Out Room in San Francisco on December 7, while Black Cobra, Lecherous Gaze, Kicker and Pins of Light will perform at Bottom of the Hill in the same town on January 4. In addition to the music, the were will be silent auctions featuring contributions from a number of artists and bands, including Queens of the Stone Age, AFI and Graveyard.
