Arcade Fire Confirm Dress Code for 2014 Tour

Arcade Fire have requested that fans wear either “formal attire or a costume” to the shows on their upcoming summer tour. The dress code continues a trend that the band established during recent concerts, when they performed under the alias The Reflektors.

As previously reported, Arcade Fire released their new album Reflektor on October 29 to generally positive reviews. The band will embark on an extensive tour in 2014, with shows scheduled all across the United States and Canada.

Because everyone wants to wear a gown/suit or tux on a hot summer night. Get over yourselves.

so what if you show up in street clothes?
your turned away.
what if i wear a oogle/hipster costume?
would they realize that its a costume?

I will be happy to dress in any costume the band wants me to wear and pretend to be anybody they want me to be. On one condition…the band has to dress up like The Grateful Dead and pretend to be an actual band instead of the over-hyped, hipster hacks that they really are.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard of in a long time and I hear lots of dumb shit.
