Billboard is reporting that Outkast are in talks to reunite for Coachella 2014. The current plan has the celebrated Atlanta hip-hop duo performing at the event before hitting the road for a run of additional festival dates.

The information is unconfirmed at the moment but the magazine reports that one source says there have been “some conversations” about an Outkast reunion, while another sources says that its “all systems go.”

Outkast went on hiatus in 2007 following the release of their sixth album, Idlewild, and the duo have not performed together since 2003. In addition, 2014 will mark the 20th anniversary of the their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Coachella will return to Indio, CA from April 11-13 and 18-20, 2014.

UPDATE: It appears as if Outkast will be reuniting in 2014 to play Coachella as well as several other festivals. Revolt TV broke the story late last night and says the Atlanta duo will play multiple festivals over the summer. No new album plans are in sight, yet. This will be the first time Andre 3000 and Big Boi will share the stage since 2004. Stay tuned for additional information as festival lineup announcement season nears.

Additionally, this Instagram post from longtime Outkast collaborator and Dungen Family member Sleepy Brown all but confirms that Outkast will headline Coachella 2014.
