Greensky Bluegrass Announce First Shows of 2014

Greensky Bluegrass announced the first batch of dates on their 2014 touring schedule. The Michigan bluegrass outfit will stay close to home with shows in and around the Midwest during late January. Along with shows in Indianapolis and Washington DC, the band will make stops in Chicago for the Bluegrass & Blues Festival as well as Live Oak, FL’s Suwannee Springfest in March.

Greensky will also headline the WinterWonderGrass Festival in Avon, CO. Along with Sam Bush, the band will share the stage with Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Elephant Revival and more over the three day festival at Nottingham Park.

Greensky Bluegrass 2014 Tour Dates:

January 17 Indianapolis, IN—The Vogue Theatre
January 18 Chicago, IL—Concord Music Hall (Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival w/Escondido)
February 1 Washington, DC—9:30 Club
February 21-23 Avon, CO—WinterWonderGrass Festival
March 21-22 Live Oak, FL—Suwannee Springfest

How far up in the NE? They come this way every tour…Unless your talking like Maine….

Sure, I’m talking Maine! They were up here in April but it was a Sunday and there were like 50 people at the show, so I doubt they’ll be coming through again anytime soon.

wow what a lucky guess… I suppose though then you are correct. Chances are they will not be back. Even NYC isn’t immune to it… although Garaj Mahal no longer plays as a band, after a 10 person crowd at the Knitting Factory ( when it was on Leonard St. ) they never came back to NYC.
