Wish he was doing another solo album. To me that was the last great album he’s put out.

As a former DMB fan, I can attest that they were once a great band…..then the nineties ended. “Before These Crowded Streets” was the last great album. Since then, their studio output has ranged from decent to garbage. They are all very talented musicians. Carter is a top ten all time drummer in my book. The douchey frat boy, teeny bop scene at their shows is diseased. All in all, they are just not worth following to me anymore.

The last two dave albums have been fantastic. Never judge one of their albums until you’ve listened to it 20 times. Even stand up grew on me until I loved it. I love all kinds of music, but there’s DMB, and then there’s everyone else. Best live band I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close. Im jacked for this new album
