Jam Cruise has added three Late Night Chefs to the bill for this year’s event, as well as a number of activities. Chris “Shaggy” Davis (aka the NOLA Crawfish King) will hold things down for New Orleans Night, while Ian Rubenoff of Lyons Fork Restaurant of Lyons, CO will take care of Southern Comfort Food Night. Bradford McDevitt of Boulder, CO’s McDevitt Taco Supply will take the lead on Taco Night.

Jam Cruise has also revealed the details on a number of interesting new activities. Jon Fishman and Col. Bruce Hampton will lead “Wheel of Fortune Cookie,” with The New Mastersounds as the house band and Chris Kuroda handling the lights. Participants will spin the wheel and crack open a fortune cookie to see what Hampton and Fishman have in store for them—be it a challenge of wit, skill or pure luck—in order to win a chance to call out a letter.

“Brews at Sea” will feature a number of specialty and complimentary offerings from Magic Hat Brewing Company, SweetWater Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery, NOLA Brewing, Bell’s Brewery, New Belgium Brewing Company, Woodchuck Cider and Dunedin Brewery. In addition, fans will also be able to join Keller Williams, Anders Beck and Paul Hoffman of Greensky Bluegrass, Allie Kral, and members of the Infamous Stringdusters for a “Dead Heads Pickin’ Party” based around the music of the Grateful Dead and Talking Heads.

Other activities include a “Jam Cruise” wedding hosted by The Motet’s Jan Ingber, while March Fourth Marching Band will lead an acrobatics workshop and Orgone will judge a door decorating contest.

Jam Crusie 12 will take music lovers from Miami to the Bahamas and Jamaica from January 4-9. The event also released its schedule earlier this month.
