Sister Sparrow to Cover Fan-Chosen Album at Brooklyn Bowl
Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds have asked their fans to choose a classic album for them to cover at the Brooklyn Bowl on January 31. Fans will be able to vote on 10 different albums in a head-to-head competition via the band’s Facebook app. The potential albums—as chosen by the band—are: Aretha Franklin’s Lady Soul, The Band’s Music From Big Pink, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys, Janis Joplin’s Pearl, Michael Jackson’s Bad, Paul Simon’s Graceland, The Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers, Soundgarden’s Superunknown and Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin IV.
As previously reported, Sister Sparrow and The Dirty Birds recently had much of their gear stolen following a show in New York City.
