Former The Band guitarist Jim Weider will bring his current musical project to New York’s City Winery on December 26. Weider’s  group, The Weight, will play the classic music of The Band. The ensemble features Randy Ciarlante (The Band, Levon Helm Band), Brian Mitchell (Levon Helm Band), Bryan Isaacs (Levon Helm Band, Dirt Farmer Band), and Marty Grebb (Bonnie Raitt Band) who also wrote songs for The Band’s Jericho album.
