Béla Fleck and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra will perform at the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Reverb is reporting that the banjo wizard will team up with the orchestra to close out June 19, the first night of the festival. As previously reported, Fleck released The Imposter, an album he recorded with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, earlier this year.

Four day passes the 41st annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival sold out in under an hour when they went on sale last week. Friday and Saturday single day tickets have also sold out since then, though Thursday and Sunday passes are still available. Last year’s event featured performances by The String Cheese Incident, Sam Bush Band, Dispatch, The Masters of Bluegrass with Del McCoury, Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers with Edie Brickell, Jackson Browne, Dispatch, Yonder Mountain String Band, Punch Brothers, Béla Fleck, Trampled by Turtles, Greensky Bluegrass and many more.
