In the summer of 1970 many of the above artists spent five days riding, rehearsing and partying their way across Canada on a customized train for a multi-city concert tour that made stops in Toronto, Winnipeg and Calgary. Many of their performances, and a good bit of their down time, were captured by future Oscar-winning cinematographer Peter Biziou at the time. 30 years later, a lot of that footage was combined with new interviews to create the 2003 documentary Festival Express, a film that provides a unique perspective on an important era in rock n roll history.
