MGMT were joined by 60s psych-rocker Faine Jade and Butthole Surfers’ Gibby Haynes during their first-ever arena-headlining show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday night. Jade sat in with the group early in the set for a rendition of his own “Introspection,” which MGMT cover on their new, self-titled album. Haynes then made an appearance toward the end of the set for “Your Life is a Lie” before hopping off stage to crowd-surf during “Kids.”

MGMT guitarist Hank Sullivant’s psych project Kuroma opened the show with a live band that also featured MGMT’s James Richardson and Will Berman, and Dinosaur Jr. played another opening set after them.
