Nick Bluhm and The Gramblers hosted their live Van Sessions stream yesterday in San Francisco. The stream was based around their Van Sessions project, in which the group posts videos of themselves covering classic tunes from their tour van. The band played a ten song set that featured covers of The Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun,” Steve Miller Band’s “Take the Money and Run,” Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s “Islands in the Stream,” George Michael’s “Faith,” Patsy Cline’s “She’s Got You,” Funkadelic’s “Can You Get to That,” Linda Ronstadt’s “You’re No Good,” and Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That,” as well as renditions of their own “Hey Stranger” and a version of The Mother Hips’ “Stoned Up the Road.”

Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers will ring in the New Year with The Mother Hips at the El Rey Theater in Chico, CA on December 30 and 31.
