The Blockley Adds to Final Weekend Schedule

Earlier this month we reported that The Blockley would be shutting its doors at the end of the year. The Philadelphia music venue hinted that a jam-packed final show would be in order, and it looks like they have delivered. This evening the club will host a hip-hop finale, tomorrow the venue will present some Grateful Dead music and Saturday the club will bring together Long Miles and Spiritual Rez.

As previously reported, The Blockley will host a A Funky Farewell featuring The Everyone Orchestra at 6pm this Sunday, December 29. This incarnation of the band will include Matt Butler (Conductor), Al Schnier (moe.), Mike Greenfield (Lotus), Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff (Lettuce), Steve Molitz (Particle), Chris Chew (North Mississippi All Stars), Dave Dreiwitz (Ween), Tom Hamilton (American Babies/Brothers Past), Clay Parnell (Brothers Past/Biodiesel/Particle), Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), John Kimock (Steve Kimock & Friends) and DJ Logic.

The venue’s full final schedule can be found below, and tickets to the Funky Farewell can be purchased here.
