The Disco /Biscuits will release a multitrack recording of the first set from their August 16, 2003 show at Tennessee’s TranceMission festival. The special set—which has only ever been available as an AUD recording—consisted entirely of classical music pieces.

Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner recently told Sirius XM’s Jam ON that guitarist Jon Gutwillig was essentially writing full on classical music in a rock style at the time. The band then found ways to perform a number of classical composition, playing them all during the afternoon set at TranceMission. The songs have appeared during Disco Biscuits from time to time since then.

There is currently no word on when the release will be available.

Here’s a look at the setlist from the August 16 2003 TranceMission afternoon set
