Ron Holloway, Eric Krasno and Neal Evans Sit In with Gov’t Mule in Philly
Ron Holloway, Eric Krasno and Neal Evans sat in with Gov’t Mule last night at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia. Holloway joined the group for “Trouble Every Day” during the first set, before Krasno and Evans took the stage with him for a “Devil Likes It Slow” that included a tease of “Les Brers in A Minor.” Holloway returned during the second set for a “The Other One” jam that featured teases of “3rd Stone from The Sun” and “Cryptical Envelopment,” as well as the set closing take on “Blind Man In The Dark,” which saw teases of “Octopus’s Garden,” “Taxman,” “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” and “Riders On The Storm.” Holloway then returned once more for the encore rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Money” that wrapped up the show.
Gov’t Mule will return to the Tower Theatre tonight before making their way two New York City for shows at the Beacon Theatre on December 30 and 31. The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger will be joining them for much of their gig on the 31st.
