Umphrey’s McGee debuted a cover of The Clash’s “Rock the Casbah” during the first show of their four-night New Year’s run at the The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver last night. Guitarist Jake Cinninger took on vocal duties during the song—which appeared in the middle of the second set—before hopping on drums to help Kris Meyers and Andy Farag turn the cover into a percussion jam. The show also saw Cinninger put down his guitar in favor of the keys on “Deeper” during the first set.

Last night’s show also featured a rendition of the newer Umphrey’s tune “Crucial Taunt,” as well as lyrically “Jimmy Stewart” version of “The Bottom Half.” The band will return to The Fillmore Auditorium tonight for the second show of their New Year’s run.
