Glad to see the jam band community acknowledging the improv-jazz scene. I always felt this relationship was not adequately explored…and the presence of improv-jazz musicians within the jam band festival circuit is equally underutilized.
Ingrid Laubrock, Ches Smith, & Tysawn Sorey represent the very best of the current NYC jazz scene…pleased to see their names here!
