The Allman Brothers Band will perform at the second annual Lockn’ Festival, which is set to take place at the Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA September 4-7. The legendary rockers now join Phil Lesh and Friends and Widespread Panic (two nights) as the only confirmed acts for the event.

2014 is an important year for The Allman Brothers Band, who are currently celebrating their 45th anniversary. Additionally, lead guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks have also recently announced that it will be their final year with the band before they leave to focus on other projects.

The Lockn’ Festival debuted last year with performances by Furthur, Widespread Panic. The String Cheese Incident, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Trey Anastasio Band, Punch Brothers, Warren Haynes Band, Jimmy Cliff, Keller and The Keels and more. Many of the acts played for two nights, and the event also featured a number of special collaborations including the Zac Brown Incident (Zac Brown and members of the Zac Brown Band with SCI), John Fogerty with Widespread Panic and an extended Trey Anastasio sit in with Furthur, among other exciting combinations.
